Grinding Gear Games has announced a massive expansion in Path of Exile: The Fall of Oriath today. The add-on is set to launch on PC on August 4th, 2017, featuring six brand new acts, which doubles the size of the current game.
The expansion introduces a brand new Pantheon character-customization system which allows players to possess the powers of the gods, offering potent powers that will take some fighting to get used to. The Fall of Oriath sees players returning to Oriath, the home of the oppressive templar theocracy. Here, you will explore everything from the mean city streets, to icy mountains and beautiful temples as you wield you path of destruction to punish those who exiled you.
The total of acts has now reached 10, with the difficulty system being removed to make place for the new five acts. You will make your way through past locations and witness the results and consequences of your past actions in a new complete story. There’s also dozens of new items, skills locations, bosses and more thanks to the addition of Fall of Oriath, which will be most welcoming for those eager for new content.
Path of Exile is now available on PC, with an Xbox One release planned in the future.
