This year’s Overwatch Summer Games event will be launched next week and we’ll once again get the chance to enjoy the epic Lúcioball game mode on a new map.
Last night, Blizzard officially announced that this year, Overwatch’s popular event, Summer Games, will return for the third time. The event will arrive on the 9th of August and is scheduled to run until the start of the 12th competitive season, until the end of the month.
You’ll get a kick out of this! ⚽

Unfortunately, we did not receive any more information from the official Twitter post, but the Korean branch made it clear that during the event a new Lúcioball stadium would be arriving, namely Busan. We really hope that the competitive ranked mode of the game will return this year as well, and it is likely that we will also be able to get the previous skins at a reduced price, and knowing Blizzard, we will probably have plenty of stuff to spend our in-game currency on.
