It’s no secret that Blizzard likes their games to be fair and fun for all, and they go to great lengths to do just that. But sometimes, it’s not enough. So, when that happens, they rely on the fans to help guide them. And while it’s true that they don’t always listen (or players/fans think they don’t listen), they to try and listen to all thoughts and complaints thrown at them. This goes double for Overwatch, which is a game that is constantly changing.
Not necessarily in a bad way either, there’s a lot of moving parts in Overwatch. From the characters, to their abilities, to the stages they fight in, and of course the game modes, there’s a lot to process and make sure things work, so the fans are needed in order to keep the balance and fairness of the game intact. But, that’s not always easy. As fans reach out to Blizzard via various aspects of social media, it can be hard to recall everything that players want, and what majority of them want it.
So, Redditor Joqosmio decided to step up to help everyone. They made a list that compiles the most wanted changes in the game from those who have played Overwatch. It’s a very comprehensive list, and it doesn’t just talk about general gameplay fixes, but specific character fixes too.
For example, for Mei, players want her freezing spray to actually affect peoples’ movements. Furthermore, they want her ammo to refill when she uses Cryo-Freeze.
Also affecting Mei is a Moira suggestion, players don’t think that her Orbs should be absorbed by Mei’s walls. This goes double when it’s an ally who’s Mei and this happens.
Some quality of life suggestions include being able to pick and choose the UI you want, being able to vote for Arcade Mode’s maps, and more.
