After its digital release back in May, Overwatch: Game of the Year Edition will hit retail shelves next week.
Releasing on July 28th, consumers will be able to join the phenomenon that has attracted over 30 million players around the world in the immensely popular Blizzard shooter, which will soon be available with a bunch of additional content for those who opt for this version of the game.
As well as the entire cast of characters, maps and other features that are included with the base game, the Game of the Year Edition also offers some extra goodies to get you started. 10 bonus Overwatch Loot Boxes will be rewarded, with random items inside for you to customize your favorite heroes with skins, victory poses, sprays, highlight intros, additional voice lines, emotes and credits.
The edition also includes the Origins skins, paying tribute to the original Overwatch strike force with classic skins from Strike-Commander Morrison, Blackwatch Reyes and other skins for existing heroes. There’s also bonuses for other Blizzard games, with Mercy’s Wings available in Diablo III, a baby Winston pet in World of Warcraft, Tracer appearing in Heroes of the Storm, as well as StarCraft II In-game portraits and card backs for Hearthstone.
