The Overwatch Arcade has opened up a whole range of possibilities for players and Blizzard does not slow down: Deathmatch is coming soon.
Overwatch Arcade has brought a whole range of games that we could not encounter during Quick and Competitive Play. We’ve seen the arrival of Capture the Flag, Total Mayhem, No Limits, 1v1, Elimination, and now we are getting a good old classic. Deathmatch is a surprising choice, mainly because Blizzard had previously decided not to have such a game mode, as they felt that it did not fit into the game.
Now, however, two popular versions of the much-requested game mode (8 free-for-all and 6v6 teams) arrive to the Overwatch Arcade with their own top list and a brand new map specifically made for the mode, The Château Guillard, which is linked to Widowmaker’s past. Older maps also get some adjustments to better suit Deathmatch’s requirements.
