Overwatch Console Patch Has Arrived

Blizzard has introduced a new patch into the console versions of Overwatch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This latest patch predominantly centers around bug fixes, as well as the introduction of real time statistics for Network Interpolation Delay, Network Ping and Network Round Trip Time.

Blizzard confirmed the Overwatch 2.17 patch on Reddit with the following message: “Hey everyone, this is a bug fix patch, I think patch notes should be out now or soon. Xbox One just completed, but PlayStation 4 will be happening a bit later today (same patch).”

As for the PC version of the game, a patch was recently introduced which sorted out some of the hero glitches that it had been suffering with. Further information regarding the updates on all platforms is expected to come in from Blizzard some time soon. It appears that the only changes are predominantly bug fixes and real time statistics, with no word on whether or not there will be any new content added to the popular Blizzard shooter.

Overwatch is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Overwatch Summer Games are currently underway, so don’t miss out and be sure to check out the game whilst this limited time event lasts.
