Games that have multiple characters with special and unique abilities, you always end up with some being weaker than others at certain points. In games like League of Legends and Dota 2, there are over a hundred characters that you constantly need to balance, but a shooter like Overwatch has only 27 heroes. Naturally, they can’t afford to have weak characters when the overall selection isn’t really that big, so Blizzard decided to update Hanzo and give him a little bit more power.
Above we have the concept art for his new ability which is currently called Rapid Shot. We don’t know exactly when the rework is going to be released for the live servers, but we are happy that Hanzo is getting some help. As you already know if you play Overwatch, Hanzo isn’t exactly a hot pick right now. He doesn’t bring much to the table, and a lot of other Heroes outperform him in the DPS section and they are usually way safer picks as they possess some sort of ability that helps them move around the place faster. If you manage to surprise a Hanzo and start firing at him right away he won’t be able to get away from you at all. He has to stay and fight.
