If you’re looking for some shooters which offer six degrees of freedom, look no further than Overload, which is a spiritual successor of Descent. Those of you that need some new kind of shooters with interesting mechanics, this is the game that you should try, as it definitely isn’t anything like Call of Duty, Fortnite, or Overwatch. Now the game got a level editor, so even when you get bored of playing it, you can use your imagination and create your own levels.
All you have to do to understand just how awesome this game is to scroll down and see the user reviews. You can’t find a bad one unless you search for a couple of hours or even more, and that says something. This is not a copy of Descent or anything like that, it is more of a sequel of sorts. Now, the developer even released a Level Editor which you can use to create your own environments that offer six degrees of freedom. We are guessing that you can’t just make a great one right away, you definitely need to have some sort of experience with this sort of game in order to make a compelling level in it.
Still, this is an amazing addition, as it offers both players that are looking for new content and those that want to create their own something to keep them busy.
