Outriders Hit With A Two-Month Delay
The looter-shooter co-op sci-fi ARPG Outriders has been hit with a second delay which moves the release date to April.
Outriders is one of the games that I’m incredibly excited about. People Can Fly are the devs, and these insane bastards are the ones that made Bulletstorm. That’s a shooter that brings a new meaning to “over-the-top” gameplay and presentation. You can understand then why I’m excited about an ARPG sci-fi co-op shooter. One that comes with crazy abilities and even crazier guns. I see it as Destiny 2 on steroids and possibly on some drugs. A winning combination if I ever saw one. That’s why it breaks my heart that Outriders got hit with a second delay. The new release date is April 1st, but there’s a free demo coming out on February 25th which lets everyone experience the first couple of hours of the game.
The gaming industry has been greatly affected by the global pandemic, I understand that. That’s why 2020 was basically a year of delays. But delaying a product over and over again creates bad blood between the devs and the customers. As you can see:
I want the game to be right, don’t get me wrong, but moving the release date out MONTHS, less than a month from the previous release date is not cool. I preordered a couple days ago. Now I want my money back so I can get something else. How do I go get a refund from PS store?

There’s a bunch of other replies like these. Everyone wants a stable and playable game, that’s true. Yet, people pre-order a title they like so they can play it on its release date. Change that release date multiple times and you have unhappy gamers that want refunds to buy other games with their money that come out sooner.
Anyone still interested in Outriders can pre-order the title on HRK Game for a great price!
