If you cast your mind back to the original Xbox, you may remember The Duke, which was a rather infamously oversized controller for the console. This was soon altered to the controller model that we know and love today, though it appears that The Duke will be making a return this March.
Seamus Blackley, who to many is referred to as the father of the original Xbox, has worked alongside manufacturer Hyperkin to bring this controller back to life. Saying that, there is a reason why the controller was referred to as infamous, because of the large size making it difficult to use for long periods of time.
THE NEW DUKE CONTROLLER is available at the END OF MARCH for $69.99 And what a wonderful moment! Thanks @XboxP3 Thanks @Hyperkin!!! pic.twitter.com/KB9C6BYxCe

Blackley recently took to Twitter to explain the reason why The Duke has been resurrected: “I discovered to my horror and fascination that The Duke was an object of nostalgia and comfort and happiness and childhood memories, and all these people with big hands saying it was the only controller that was comfortable”.
If you’re looking for a nostalgic gaming experience, then look no further than the returning controller when it rolls out this March. Especially if you have big hands, which many have stated it is comfortable to use with after all.
