So, the king of battle royal games is now available for the Nintendo Switch. That is an odd thing, but not all that unexpected considering how popular Fortnite is on all platforms. One thing is strange though, and that is the fact that the game’s PvE mode, titled “Save the World” isn’t available on this platform, which is unexpected. That mode is available in paid early access, so naturally, it isn’t as appealing as the free2play battle royal mode.
The battle royal mode is much more popular, that is true, and by much more we mean a lot more. See, we recently found out that the battle royal mode has 125 million players. Do you know how many people that is? So, naturally, Nintendo wanted to port the mode that is taking the world by storm, and while the “Save the World” mode is pretty cool and fun, it is dying in the shadow of the game’s more popular mode. This is quite a shame, but what can you do. The battle royal mode is the main topic in gaming today, and it is an ever-growing sensation that shows no signs of stopping.
