As we all know, Season of the Dragon is coming with a bunch of new content. Now, before ESO players get the actual dragons and the home of the Khajiit, we’re getting some awesome new dungeons to conquer. One of them is called Depths of Malatar, which should be something that’s familiar to Oblivion players. Yes, this dungeon was featured in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and the dev team created this dungeon based on that one. There is even a boss fight which is quite similar to the one from Oblivion.

That’s really cool, as it does tie in the Elder Scrolls game together, which is always aplus.

What kinds of horrors await ESO players in this particular dungeon? At first, you’re only going up against Empowered Imperial soldiers, which aren’t all that dangerous. But, as you go deeper and deeper, you will start to encounter vicious Daedric beasts. Those are quite dangerous, and will definitely give us a challenge.

Once you retrieve the ancient relic after you’ve discovered the ancient shrine, the true master of Malatar will appear. Who else is excited to fight a spirit of an ancient Ayleid king and even Meridia’s champions?

Conquer this dungeon and get three new sets of unique gear. One of these is the Auroran’s Thunder set, a Light armor set that releases a cone of lightning when you deal direct damage. That sounds like a set that will be great for melee DPS classes.
