No Man’s Sky Has A Lot Of Active Players
A Reddit thread popped up that shows that No Man’s Sky had more active players over this weekend than The Witcher 3 had at its all-time peak. That is pretty surprising, considering that The Witcher 3 was one of the best RPGs we saw recently, but it seems like this space explorer got a lot more appealing once it got multiplayer.
There is a big difference between a 24-hour peak and an all-time peak. Keep that in mind when you consider the fact that No Man’s Sky managed to have more players in its 24-hour peak than The Witcher 3 had in its all-time peak. Strange thing, but the resurgence of players in this space exploration simulation is all thanks to the Next update which came recently and brought something that a lot of people were looking for, and that’s multiplayer.
Everyone today that follows what happens in the gaming industry is aware of the fiasco with No Man’s Sky and the false claims that the game would have multiplayer right from the start. Naturally, once this title launched it wasn’t received too well, but over the year it got a lot of updates and a lot of content, and now that co-op multiplayer is here, it is finally the game that we all expected. The Next update really resurrected No Man’s Sky, and now it is a product worth buying, as we can see on Steam’s global top sellers where the game is firmly staying in the top 5 spots.
