Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom got its first free DLC, which expands one dungeon and adds a brand new quest line.
Oh, you aren’t familiar with Ni no Kuni 2? Well, if you’re a fan of quality JRPGs, you’re missing out. This is a game that has a beautiful world filled with all kinds of wonders, epic characters, challenging monsters, and more. The combat is fluid and satisfying, the kingdom building and skirmishes systems are interesting, and the only bad side of this game is the story. Unfortunately, it seems like the story was made for children, and it doesn’t really impress at all even at the end.
But, let’s not talk about that, let’s get into the free DLC! The first DLC out of three brings some extra floors to the Faraway Forest dungeon. More content is always welcome, especially if its free. We even got a brand new story in which we go against the powerful Demon of Anguish. This new quest line seems pretty solid, and it features two new bosses for us to fight, named Zeta and Blackhart.
As always, we will get wonderful rewards when we finish the quest and when we beat the expanded dungeon. The rewards are new items and stylish new outfits for Evan. This brilliant JRPG is getting two new free DLC packs later down the line, and the second one which is adding a new puzzling dungeon is coming sometime this winter.
We can never have enough of Ni no Kuni 2, so we can’t wait for more DLC!
