Rockstar announcing the delay of Red Dead Redemption 2 until next year would have been a disappointment to many, but hopefully now there is a little more to go off of with the release of a brand new trailer.
On the subject of delays, even this little tidbit of information is somewhat belated, given that we were told that we would receive news on the highly anticipated sequel in the Summer, and it has only been revealed today. Regardless, here we are with a brand new video, and it looks brilliant.
The clip focuses around the game’s narrative, in a highly expected Western style drama with plenty of grit, which is described by Rockstar as “the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight, and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive.”
Red Dead Redemption 2, the follow up to the original game which released back in 2010, is expected to launch in Spring 2018. The game was originally set for fall this year, but was delayed by Rockstar. It is set for release on Xbox One and PS4. It’s quite the delay, but certainly give us something to look forward to.
