If the sequel to the horror sensation from Bethesda is teaching us anything, its that parenting is no easy task. A brand new trailer has been released for The Evil Within 2, which takes a deeper look at the story, taking place a few years after the first outing.
Playing once more as returning protagonist Sebastian Castellanos, he makes his return to the STEM world to rescue his daughter. This is going to be no easy task however, as the world begins to fall apart, leaving it as a race against time for Lilly to be rescued. It isn’t just time that’s against you either, as the game’s usual brand of horrifying monsters and creatures will be out to tear you apart both physically and mentally.
Sebastian has come prepared for such a task, using a range of weapons to guide him through, from knives, to traps and guns to navigate through the dastardly environments. On the subject of items, Bethesda has also revealed The Last Chance Pack, which includes the Burst Handgun, as well as crafting and medical supplies.
The Evil Within 2 is set for release later this year on October 13th, 2017, and will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
