Sega has revealed a brand new trailer for Sonic Forces, unveiling a villain named Infinite. What will be the latest entry in the franchise after Sonic Mania will be released in the holidays later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The trailer showcases Infinite, who will be teaming up with Eggman and other villains such as Chaos, Metal Sonic, Shadow and Zavok. This group of enemies will attempt to stop the blue blur at all costs to create as much havoc as possible.
Infinite was first revealed back at E3 2017, and the latest trailer highlights exactly what he is capable of. Check out the trailer below.
In a similar fashion to Sonic Generations, Sonic Forces will combine both 2D and 3D levels of gameplay in a fast-paced action game. Players will also be able to create their own heroes to play as during the game’s story mode, which boasts in-depth customization mechanics for you to use to create your perfect Sonic character.
This game won’t release until the tail end of this year, but fear not, Sonic fans. The retro celebration that is Sonic Mania releases next month, which paves the way nicely for this release.
