Fortnite Battle Royale has without a doubt been one of the gaming highlights for many gamers this year. The free-to-play mode has brought joy to plenty of us, though it isn’t without its issues, one major problem being the shooting mechanics.
In early 2018, testing will get underway to bring improvements to the shooting mechanics that are in this particular mode. The changes were planned to be released this year, though they have since been pushed back for seemingly undisclosed reasons. It could be to do with the new map which will be released in January, but this hasn’t been confirmed. Either way, the mode is subjected to frequent updates and upgrades, so there isn’t really much room for complaints.
he new proposed shooting model will see the removal of random bullet spread, which has been the source of frustration and complaints from many Fortnite fans. This is because firefights are essentially based on luck, as opposed to skill which should be a given. There are improvements in other areas that could potentially be made, especially when looking at the damage certain weapons do, particularly the shotgun, which many consider overpowered.
Fortnite is now available on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
