Three new promotions will be heading to FIFA 17 later this week, with a number of rewards and squad building challenges set to be introduced.
FIFA has already teased End of an Era, Marquee Transfers and FUTTIES recently since Team of the Season is coming to a close. Now, according to rumors, the likes of Francesco Totti, Phillipp Lahm and Xabi Alonso, who are now considered legends after retiring could be featured as part of these squad building challenges.
As for FUTTIES, this will apparently see players voting for their favorite players, with the winners receiving special IF pink cards. We are still awaiting on when these will in fact go live, though a confirmation is expected to be made in the very near future.
Speaking of the future, EA will look to Gamescom to present a FIFA 18 Ultimate Team showcase when it rolls round in August. The convention in Cologne, Germany will be used to highlight more features that will be accompanying the heavily used game mode. Gamescom itself presents Europe’s largest gaming convention, featuring many developers and publishers revealing information about their respective products. It’s set to take place between August 22-26, where we will hear more about FIFA 18 and much, much more.
