New Patch For Dragon Ball FighterZ Coming Before February Ends
Dragon Ball FighterZ was already one of the most anticipated game in 2018 from the moment it was revealed at E3 2017 last year. The game brought a style that truly resembled the anime it was born from, and as more and more character reveals and details were shown, it became clear that Arc Systems and Bandai Namco were trying to make something truly special. And, when the game launched a month ago, they were rewarded for their desire to do that. For it sold very well, and continues to sell.
Now though, the teams are working hard to improve the game at its core level, which means patches. Some have already come out, but in a post on the official Dragon Ball FighterZ website, the team makes it clear that another patch will come out before the end of February:
“Thank you to everyone who has been enjoying Dragon Ball FighterZ. We’d like to announce the contents of the late February update to the game. (Once the update is out, because of changes to the battle system, replay data from the older version will be incompatible, so please be aware of this).”
Many of the adjustments are meant to “balance” the game in certain respects, while others are meant to make the game more fun and “convenient.”
For example, in regards to online play, when you’re searching for an opponent in Ring Match, Casual Match or Ranked Match, your controller will vibrate when one is found. Making sure that you know your match is going to start if you’ve stepped away. There are also improvements to the flow of combat that players will no doubt look forward to.
There will be a new game mode added via Party Match in this patch, and Arcade Mode is going to be changed so that it’s more convenient to players.
All of this adds up to a great new patch that you can expect today or tomorrow.
