New Overwatch Event Revealed
A brand-new limited time event called Retrobution was announced for Overwatch. Blizzard always releases themed events for their games, and Overwatch players really like these, as they often introduce new story elements, as well as badass new skins for their favorite heroes. The Retribution event takes place 8 years ago on the streets of Venice, and four heroes (Genji, Moira, McCree, or Reyes) are there on a mission to capture a high-ranking member of the Talon organization.
We join the ranks of Blackwatch once again, and this time we are getting 60 new items (including things like highlight intros, emotes, sprays, and so on), and we will also be getting the ones from last year as well. The Retribution event will show us how the Reaper looked before he assumed that name, as he was called Reyes eight years ago. Judging from the comments section on their trailer for the event, players are really hyped up for Retribution, but a lot of them are also complaining about the lack of PvE in Overwatch generally. We all know that Blizzard knows how to make a compelling story, and that also seems to be true with these limited Overwatch events, so it’s quite a mystery as to why they haven’t made any standard PvE content for the game.
Never played Overwatch before? Well, now is a good time to try, as you can practice your skills in this upcoming PvE event, which starts on April 10th and ends on April 30th, so there’s plenty of time to have fun and hone your skills before taking on other players!
