The new Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge Red Band trailer shows what kind of brutal carnage we’re going to witness.
Mortal Kombat is a pretty gruesome and brutal franchise, most known for its extremely violent combat. As you can imagine, some were worried that the upcoming animated movie wasn’t going to be that bloody. Yet, the Red Band trailer came to let us all know that we shouldn’t worry at all. The fighting, the language, everything in Scorpion’s Revenge trailer is as Mortal Kombat as it can be. Guts flying everywhere, skulls getting mashed like mashed potatoes, and Johnny Cage being Johnny Cage.
There’s only one thing. The story, what will they do with the story I wonder. I know it won’t be anything special, but fans are already afraid that they will alter Scorpion’s and Sub-Zero’s backstory to set up a conflict that will drive the plot. I hope things like that get avoided, but you never know. This is Mortal Kombat, do you need to have a freaking plot and story? Well, it seems you do. Whatever the case may be, we’re in for a whole lot of insanely brutal violence.
