A recent live stream in Japan from Capcom saw the announcement of new details for the upcoming release of Monster Hunter: World. The highly anticipated game is set for release on Xbox One and PS4 on January 26th, 2018, and you can check out the new trailer for the game just below:
As you can see, the new trailer introduces both new and returning Elder Dragons. The steel dragon Kushala Daora presents a metal-covered beast with the power to keep hunters away by engulfing itself in wind storms. Meanwhile, the flame king dragon Teostra boasts a brutal combat set that spits fire at any hunter who dares challenge it, with most ending up encased in a blazing fire. The trailer also introduces Dodogama, a rock-eating wyvern who possesses a saliva that can turn rocks into explosives in order to warn off attackers.
The final beta has too been confirmed for PS4 users, which will kick off in North America on January 18th, running through to January 22nd. As well as the previous release of the Great Jagras, Anjanath and Barroth quests, players can also do battle with Nergigante, the flagship monster for the game.
Monster Hunter: World will release on Xbox One and PS4 on January 26th, 2018.
