Capcom has revealed further information regarding Monster Hunter World during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
Thanks to YouTuber SHAZBOT1211, we can now see some of the various weapons that will be on offer, with further info on the game being revealed by Reddit user crimtex. For example, the maps will vary in temperature and humidity, which will determine what wildlife inhabits them. There has also been key work done on textures for hair and fur, such as Anjanath or the felynes, with these monsters having a great deal of attention paid to them, as well as other traits including bone and skin structure.
The panel didn’t mention anything about Monster Hunter XX, with the sole focus being on Monster Hunter World. The game is set for release early next year, and will be heading to PS4 and Xbox One in early 2018, to the delight of many fans who have been looking forward to one of these titles coming to consoles. A PC release is set to follow on afterwards, though a window for release has yet to be revealed for that particular platform.
