If your character in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is a rampaging monster that’s equipped to deal with everything, New Game+ will help.
Many are saying that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the best AC game in the franchise. That is debatable, but ever since these games started going into the RPG direction, the series became invigorated. The gameplay formula was becoming stale, the overarching story was a mess, and Ubisoft needed a way to spice things up. That’s how we got Assassin’s Creed Origins, which featured many RPG elements. Odyssey just followed up on that and improved all the things that were good about that game.
For those of you that have a high-level character with nothing to do, a New Game+ mode was announced. We can expect it sometime this month, and even though an exact release date wasn’t given, there are only 18 days left in the month, so we won’t have to wait for long.
New Game+ modes usually revolve around playing the game again with your old character, but the enemies are more powerful and the loot gets better. Not many games manage to nail that mode, but maybe Ubisoft does. Who knows, but it will certainly give you more hours of enjoyment, and the Greek setting of Odyssey and its mythical monsters are a joy to experience.
