The first Life is Strange game, published by gaming giants Square Enix, captured the hearts of many. It presented an emotional roller coaster that skyrocketed the game to critical acclaim, heavily praised for its captivation and storytelling. So needless to say, fans were delighted to see that a prequel is to be released, which has been confirmed to be titled Life is Strange: Before the Storm.
The prequel is currently set for release a the end of this month, and to get fans in the mood, the game’s developers have released a brand new 10 minute video showcasing Before the Storm’s gameplay.
In Life is Strange: Before the Storm, a 16 year-old Chloe Price is struggling to come to terms with the death of her father, which isn’t helped by the arrival of David, a new father figure coming into her life. Set in Arcadia Bay, Before the Storm shows Chloe’s house for the first time, after a somewhat blurred awakening after the previous night’s events in the Mill. Life is Strange: Before the Storm will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on August 31st, with the first three episodes entitled Awake.
