We don’t really have a lot of quality fantasy strategy games these days, now do we? Endless Legend is a good fantasy strategy game, and it’s been a while since it got some new content. What do you think that means? Well, Amplitude Studios have been working hard this year, so naturally, they want to take a well-deserved break. But, since they are so nice and all, they teased the brand new expansion that’s coming to Endless Legend before they went off. Their last expansion, titled “Tempest”, was all about water and that kind of stuff, so it looks like the next expansion is going in the totally opposite direction.
Amplitude Studios are a nice bunch, and they do have a sense of humor. As far as the Inferno expansion is concerned, we don’t know a whole lot. Hopefully, when they return from their summer break more information about this hellish expansion will come up. On their official post where they teased the expansion they said this:
We’re about to close shop for about 10 days, as we head early into our annual summer break. Don’t worry though, as we’ll soon be back with some news. The project we have in closed beta is coming along nicely. The other closed beta is coming along nicely. Wait, what? We didn’t mention there was another beta going on?
Endless Legend is a really fantastic fantasy strategy game, so pick it up if you haven’t played it ever.
