New Destiny 2 Expansion Datamined?
Data miners always manage to find hints about upcoming content, and we may have come clues regarding a possible Destiny 2 expansion.
You can’t hide anything from gamers these days. Not when you have data miners left and right digging through files for any hint about upcoming content. Destiny 2 data miners are always on the hunt for anything regarding new expansions, and this time they might have found something. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is the name of this alleged upcoming expansion. This is the full description as found on the picture shared on Resetera:
“The next chapter in the Destiny experience arrives this fall as terrifying shadows descend upon a forgotten moon. Return to the lunar surface. Journey deep into a mysterious enemy citadel. Become a slayer of nightmares.”
Sounds like a spookfest, but becoming a “slayer of nightmares” does sound incredibly exhilarating. The Destiny games always have outstanding expansions that save the usually quite generic base game. Will Shadowkeep be that, if it’s even real?
Most of the stuff that data miners find ends up being real. But, since you can never be 100% sure with these things, everyone is waiting for Bungie to announce Shadowkeep themselves. Quite a lot of time passed since Destiny 2: Forsaken got released, so this would be prime time for some new content. Players in these games can only do so much before getting burned out by grinding. Let’s hope we’re getting this new expansion soon with new weapons, new gear, new enemies, and a new story!
