Creating hype for your expansion is something that game developers have done before, but it has become much more complex these days. Bungie’s sci-fi shooter, Destiny 2, is getting the Warmind expansion that’s bringing a new Raid Lair, new themed weapons, gear, and armor, a new ritual activity, a new relic weapon, and much more, and now we’re getting a comic that sets up for it. The Warmind comic is free, and it follows the journey of someone called Anastasia Bray.
The comic takes us to Anastasia Bray. She decided to explore Mars and see what’s going on there. As expected, she finds some enemies, which she quickly disposes of, but problems ensue. We don’t want to spoil too much of the comic as it has a short story, as it’s quite an enjoyable read, and it sets up the Warmind expansion just right. As far as the Warmind expansion goes, it is bringing a lot of new features and items and enemies, and the official description of it says:
Destiny 2 Expansion II: Warmind continues your Guardian’s journey with an all-new story. Destiny 2 will only get better with this expansion, but we still need to play it for ourselves to see if it lives up to all of the hype that it’s getting right now.
