Skyrim is a pretty solid RPG, but the game has such a vast modding community and so many awesome mods that take the game to all new heights. Now that Skyrim VR has launched, a lot of people started wondering, will we be able to use mods in this one? Apparently, you can use them right now, and Skyrim players have already made tutorials on how to install mods on Skyrim VR.
Exploring Skyrim’s vast world in virtual reality must be a really exciting experience, but it doesn’t hold up for long. The game wasn’t made to be a VR title, so naturally, over time you’re just going to go back to playing the normal version. But, there are always mods, and mods mean that you can customize your game to be more exciting and more interesting. But, how does one make mods work for the VR version? Guides have been made already, there is one that you can use if you’re using the Nexus Mod Manager, but there’s an even better option if you want to use Vortex, the mod manager that the successor to the Nexus Mod Manager, which means that it’s better in almost all aspects.
Do keep in mind that not all mods are going to work with the VR version, as they also weren’t made to be used in virtual reality. But as long as they don’t affect the game’s textures or alter the game graphically, they should work just fine.
