Modern Warfare and its Season One is here, bringing the biggest free content drop in the history of Call of Duty games.
Modern Warfare Season One is finally here, together with a lot of free content, including maps and game modes. This game has been on my radar for a while ever since Season One was announced, and the talks of adding a 1v1 mode started circulating. All in all, it seems like a solid Call of Duty title and it seems the devs are going to support the game with free stuff. That’s always nice to see in today’s industry of “live service” trash.
Now, the first new additions are here. They include Crash 24/7, Port (got added to Ground War), Reinforce, Rammaza and Gun Runner (got added to TDM 20 and DOM 20), and Hardcore TDM, Search and Destroy, and Cyber Attack got night maps.
Certain things have also been removed. Gun Game, Shoot House 24/7, and 2v2 Gunfight Tournament. Players, as can be seen in this Reddit thread, are extremely unhappy. Everyone liked these modes and the Shoot House map. Most of the complaints say that they mostly played Gun Game. Shoot House 24/7 too, these are fan favorites that got cut off for some reason. So, why would the devs remove these? Fans are baffled and sad, but hopefully, these get added back once Infinity Ward notices how much the fans are angry over their removal.
