Minecraft is a game that truly transcends gaming itself. After all, one of the key parts of the game is just building whatever you want. And through that, the game has become something truly special and unique, as players will dive into it to see what they can create. Then, they’ll go and search the world to see what others have created. Now, as great as that is, that doesn’t mean the world doesn’t have issues, and a major one will be fixed in 2018.
Mainly, the game didn’t really have much of an ocean life, despite the oceans being in the world. There was little to no aquatic animals in Minecraft’s waters, and this made players sad as it could’ve been something truly special to interact with them. So, in 2018, Mojang will release the “Update Aquatic”, which will bring scores of aquatic life into the game. And now, we have our first look at one such creature you’ll find in the waters: turtles!
According to the official website, “they’ll make their nests on shorelines throughout various biomes and their young will scamper down to the water.” So, very much like real life turtles. They did note that the final textures for the turtles will likely change from what they are now, so be prepared for that.
Now the question is, what will you do if you are able to find the turtles? Will you try and capture them and make them your pets? Will you build them a grand area where they can stay and live their lives in peace? Or, will you go to other aquatic creatures that “capture your attention more”? Again, it’s Minecraft, it’s up to you what you do.
