The Nemesis System in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor was most certainly unique. This offered a system in which you could recruit Orcs do your bidding, turn them against each other and climb the ranks to cater to your needs. So it’s no surprise to see that Middle-earth: Shadow of War will be building on this.
Shadow of War will expand on the foundations laid out by its predecessor by introducing Nemesis Fortresses. These will be occupied by a certain tribe depending on which the Orc Overlord is a part of, leading to a number of exciting and deadly encounters between random Nemesis between former blood-brothers out for vengeance, or even have an Orc save you from a sticky situation if needed. Ahead of its release in a few weeks time, there is plenty for fans to be getting excited about. Shadow of War looks set to expand on Shadow of Mordor in several aspects, everything from the expanded Nemesis System to being able to actually mount a dragon to form a Fortress Assualt.
The highly anticipated sequel Middle-earth: Shadow of War will launch on October 10th, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
