Metro Exodus PC Requirements Revealed
One of the biggest differences between console gaming and PC is the fact that if you want to play a game on your PC, you better make sure that your system meets the requirements for the title. PC gaming is constantly evolving, and so to must your PC evolve with it most times. This especially goes for high-profile AAA titles that often push the graphical limits of gaming, like Metro Exodus for example.
Deep Silver has released the PC specs and requirements in order to play Metro Exodus. Here is the minimum and recommended requirements:
Minimum
- OS: Windows 7 | 8 | 10
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4440 or equivalent
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 670 | GeForce GTX 1050 | AMD Radeon HD 7870
- VRAM: 2 GB
- Direct X: 11 |1
Recommended
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K or equivalent
- RAM: 8GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1070 | GeForce RTX 2060 | AMD RX Vega 56
- VRAM : 8 GB
- Direct X : 12
Now, if you want a bigger and better experience, then you should try and do this:
High
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K or equivalent
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti | GeForce RTX 2070 | AMD RX Vega 64
- VRAM: 8 GB
- Direct X: 12
Extreme
- OS: Windows 10
- CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K or equivalent
- RAM: 16GB
- GPU: GeForce RTX 2080 Ti
- VRAM: 11 GB
- Direct X: 12
Obviously, not everyone will be able to the highest of these requirements, so at the minimum you should try and go for Recommended in terms of setting. Exodus is aiming to be the best game in the Metro series, so Deep Silver went and pushed it as far as it could go in terms of both graphical and gameplay quality.
The game will release on PC as well as Xbox and PS4 on February 15th.
