Konami has revealed that players who played Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be granted special items if they play Metal Gear Survive, which includes nameplates, an eye patch and a Metal Gear RAY head, according to Metal Gear Informer.
Check out the screenshots below for a sneak peek at what you could get your hands on:
There are certain conditions that need to be met in order to receive these items, however. You will have needed to have agreed to the Terms of Use in The Phantom Pain, and have started playing the game. You can confirm if this condition has been met by heading to the pause menu, where you should find a 9-digit CONTACT ID, which will be clarification that you can receive the items.
To get the items, you will need to be using the same account for Survive that you used when playing The Phantom Pain. After this has been downloaded, the items are then sent to the supply box, which is accessible at Base Camp which you will come across at some point during the story.
Metal Gear Survive will launch on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on February 20th in North America and February 22nd in Europe. PC meanwhile will release on Steam from February 21st.
Can I have those rewards in my metal gear survive in PC if I played the other one in PS4?
