The final pack shot for Metal Gear Survive has been released by Konami, and it reveals a few interesting pieces of information that many fans will have been curious of. Check out the pack shots below:
The game has been confirmed to require an internet connection to play, which was something that has been rumored for a while now. It didn’t specify at the time whether or not this was for just online co-op or for the entire game. With the release of these pack shots, it seems as if the entire game will require an internet connection at all times, which isi likely because of progress carrying over.
It has also been given a PEGI rating of 16 and up, making it lower than the 18+ rating given to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. On the subject of MGSV, the signs of the game only being online might be a worry for some if they experienced what happened to Kojima’s final effort in the franchise at launch. There were a number of instances where the game’s menu would become incredibly slow.
Meanwhile, Metal Gear Survive is currently penned for release in March 2018, releasing on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
