As we know by now, Metal Gear Survive brings a particularly different beast to the table, with it being the first title in the franchise to not have the renowned Hideo Kojima at the helm. This title shifts focus to co-operative survival against a horde of undead, whereas previous entries in the franchise followed a more stealth and infiltration kind of route.
So it does make many of us wonder how Konami can help make Survive feel like a typical Metal Gear game. Not that it’s necessarily supposed to be, given that it’s more of a spin-off, but still, there should still be an injection of quirks in there. And that is exactly what Konami look to be doing, by rewarding players for pretty much starting the game up.
The “Dite” achievement/trophy is awarded to Survive players for quite simply seeing the game’s logo. This happens once you have completed the prologue, so that’s an easy achievement for you to get under your belt early on. It also just adds that something a little bit different, which is a practice that fans of the series will have come to expect.
Metal Gear Survive is now available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
