Metal Gear Survive sees players sucked through a wormhole into an alternate dimension taking place at the end of Ground Zeroes, where the undead and hostile environments reign supreme. Here, players face off against deadly creatures, all the while trying to gather resources to survive.
Those who have experienced The Phantom Pain will be familiar with many of the mechanics that are present in Survive, with a single player campaign and co-op for up to four players available.
To go with these modes, there are also daily missions which are released each day at 12am PT, which offer additional rewards and special battle conditions that bring further variety to the game.
The daily missions for this week, which is when they’ve launched, are as follows:
- Wrecked Base (2/23)
- Deserted Mine (2/24)
- Abandoned Airport (2/25)
- Forsaken Ruins (2/26)
- Deserted Mine (2/27)
Fallen Village, the weekly mission for this week, is now live until February 27th at 11:59pm PT, which will feature three distinct battle conditions. As for March, this will see the introduction of a new co-op mission known as Rescue Mission, with more details to be revealed soon.
Metal Gear Survive, the latest entry in the famous franchise, is now available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
