This year will bring new updates to Metal Gear Solid V Phantom Pain where new character capabilities will be added. These are being added to the character of Revolver Ocelot, a kingpin within the game. The character may not have too many customisation capabilities, but provides a tactical advantage as now he can be deployed as an FOB or Forwards Operating Base player. This update also provides Ocelot with improved capabilities such as a camouflage which is harder to detect for the enemies as well as reload speeds which are faster.
These updates are applicable over the PS4, Xbox One as well as the Microsoft Windows PC platforms and they were made available on the 28th of July 2017. This is the first time MGS-V: Phantom Pain has been updated this year. Apart from the Ocelot updates, the swimsuit for the soldiers also gets additions. Two new swimsuits, namely the Megalodon and the Goblin provide more manoeuvrability as these have been highly optimised, giving the soldiers more speed during their missions. However, these don’t come automatically and a gamer has to keep playing until the feature is unlocked. Also these suits don’t provide any camouflage either.
