Brace yourselves Mega Man fans, its almost time to relive the past of the Blue Bomber once again. Serving as a follow up to Mega Man Legacy Collection, which offered players to experience the original 8-bit classics once again, Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 blasts into the 16-bit and 32-bit eras, as well as a return to 8-bit as you take on Dr. Wily and his menacing Robot Masters.
This new addition collects Mega Man 7,8,9 and 10, as well as a bunch of bonus content like extra challenges with online leaderboards, accessibility options for both old and new players of differing abilities, and much more. The collection is available from today digitally on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
That’s not all, as the collection also includes a Museum filled with original production art and rare concepts, plus settings that cater for those experiencing Mega Man for the first time, such as adding armor and checkpoint saves, and a Challenge Mode with the likes of boss rush and stage remixes for you to check yourself onto online leaderboards with.
The additional modes available include extra stages, as well as added playable characters that were originally released as DLC for Mega Man 9 and 10. The music player mode is also worth checking out to jam out to all the classic tunes from the entire collection for an added dose of nostalgia.
