Mavericks Proving Grounds’ Player Cap Is 1000
Oh boy, imagine a 1000 players match where everyone is trying to kill each other with rifles, grenades, and all kinds of weapons. That would be quite cool actually, but would our computers be able to manage that many people on our screens at once? Maybe, maybe not, but we are still not sure about this. A thousand players sounds like a lot, and it seems strange that they increased the number from 400 all of a sudden. But, we are not here to analyze the news, but to bring them to you. The Mavericks Proving Grounds now allows you to apply for its Closed Beta, so if you’re itching to try a new battle royal game, why not give this a shot.
The game does have a trailer, but to be honest, it doesn’t look like anything we haven’t seen before. The short gameplay clip which shows a guy running around and gunning people down, which isn’t all that interesting, and we were hoping to see at least 30 or 40 people on screen, gunfire everywhere, and death on each corner. Instead, we saw one guy running and killing 5 people one at a time. Wasn’t really epic or anything, but maybe we will get more footage soon which showcases something a bit more special.
For now, we can only apply for the Closed Beta and hope that we get picked when it starts.
