Madden NFL 18 is set for release in three weeks time, and there has been little shown in regards to its gameplay with its new engine.
With the exception of an edited trailer, fans are oblivous to many aspects of how Madden NFL 18 actually plays. Madden NFL 18 has made the switch to EA’S Frostbite Engine, so why there has been a severe lack of footage to showcase it. According to EA, this is because of their focus mainly being on the new Longshot story mode. Having said that, there is still little revealed where that’s concerned also.
A tweet from creative director Rex Dickson did shed some light on what or when we can expect some news, when he asked when we will see some gameplay footage. He replied: “One more week boss. I’m playing it right now. Gameplay is great. Trust me bro.”
This might be reassuring to some, but there will be many out there that will need a more visual reassurance rather than just word. With it running on a new game engine, the anticipation must be higher than normal to see some long-awaited Madden NFL 18 footage. We will have to wait and see what is shown next week.
