Lost Ark is one of the most anticipated action-RPGs of this decade. The open beta was finally announced, but only for South Korea.
If you like games like Diablo 3 and Path of Exile, then you already heard of Lost Ark. It’s a game that has been in development for 7 years. The game got a lot of attention as soon as it was first shown due to its incredibly flashy combos and amazing graphics. You don’t see this kind of intense and cinematic combat in games like these.
MMOCulture were the ones that found out that the game announced its open beta in South Korea. Players were afraid that this title won’t reach the West at all, and they may be right. But, it’s still too early to judge, as after all that time in development the game is finally entering its open beta.
Smilegate, a South Korean developer, hosted a media event today which announced the release date for the open beta. Lost Ark will launch on November 7th. A lot of players from the rest of the world will also use various means to enter this beta. You don’t know how many people are hailing this game as the next Diablo II.
We are also quite excited by this information. Still, our fear that the game won’t come to our areas is still here. No one said anything about a Western release, and that is making us sad.
