A brand new live-action trailer has been released for Assassin’s Creed Origins, which is set for release later this month.
Starring the game’s protagonist Bayek, the video showcases the consequences of his actions as he traverses the lands of ancient Egypt. This particular trailer is a bit different this time around compared to others that have been released in the past, which have highlighted other key elements such as the threat of the advancing Romans and Cleopatra’s rule. This trailer will rather focus on how events will unfold after his time in the game, and the legacy he leaves behind in the form of the Brotherhood of Assassins.
Directed by Daniel Wolfe and subtitled I AM, the trailer gives players a glimpse at what might happen at the end of the game, as the people revolt against their rulers and assassinating key leaders in the history of ancient Egypt.
We might not learn the fate of Bayek and what his actions will indeed lead to until perhaps into next year with new content, though what actually happens remains to be seen. Whatever happens, we won’t have much longer to wait until Assassin’s Creed Origins releases on PC, Xbox One and PS4 later this month.
