LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Gets Black Panther DLC
You might not realize, but one of the most successful video game franchises in the last decade or so is the LEGO franchise. It started off small, putting in a parody of Star Wars of all things, but it then grew to mimic just about everything you can think of. Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and of course, DC Comics and Marvel. Since then, they keep making more games and adding more content to the titles. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, for example, has just gotten some new DLC based on the upcoming Black Panther film.
The DLC itself is $2.99, but if you have the Season Pass you’ll get it included. The content itself focuses loosely on the plot from the film. You’ll be fighting in the nation of Wakanda (the hope of T’Challa), and be teaming up with Shuri (T’Challa’s sister) to take down Erik Kilmonger and his army, who are trying to take the nation for themselves.
Aside from T’Challa and Shuri, the content will also include characters Okoye, Nakia, Erik Kilmonger, Ulysses Klaue and Everett K. Ross for you to play as. Giving you quite the roster from the upcoming film.
As you can see from the picture above, LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be getting even more content via the other upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Thanos will headline the Avengers: Infinity War content, while Ant-Man and The Wasp will be starring in their own based on their upcoming film.
A previous film that have gotten the LEGO DLC treatment in the game was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2, which no doubt set the trend for what’s happening here. Just goes to show that a title like LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 can endure for quite some time as long as there is good content to give to players.
