TT Games’ head of design, Arthur Parsons, recently had an interview with MyM Magazine, which happened to reveal some pretty interesting information regarding Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2.
In the game, there is a Lego version of the Hulk dress as a gladiator, which is a nod to the recently released Thor: Ragnarok movie. Whilst this might seem obvious to some, it means that the team behind the game gets to see what happens in Marvel before they’ve actually been released.
Parsons stated: “We get to see a little bit behind the curtain so that we can put things in there that are relevant. When people have gone to see Thor: Ragnarok, we can have things in the game like Korg, for example. Or we can use stuff from Guardians. Or we can even have stuff in there that maybe might be from the future – from The Runaways TV show or Cloak & Dagger. There’s so many great things in the game and that all comes from that brilliant partnership.
In the future, we could see DLC potentially that won’t have been seen before, and we will get to see it courtesy of a Lego game, which is certainly an interesting approach.
