LawBreakers hasn’t had the easiest of launches, as it has been unable to attract many players at all. At launch, it managed 3,000 concurrent players, with a lower number of 1,000 during a recent free weekend. What’s more troubling, a recent statistic showed that there was a lowly 10 concurrent players actually playing the game, which is a rather daunting stat compared to the likes of the dizzy heights achieved by games such as PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
Despite this, Boss Key Productions are still keen to bring out updates for LawBreakers. The latest presents the All-Star Update, which focuses on a brand new competitive ranked mode known as Boss Leagues. Here, players will be placed into one of six tiers from Bronze to Boss following 10 placement matches.
The update is set to go live today at 10am Pacific time, and will bring with it new maps including the Blitzball arena map, Gateway, as well as a Blood Moon variant of the Redfalls map. In the meantime, the game’s developers have been hard at work trying to gain feedback from players in order to help improve the game, and will also be bringing in improved tutorials and multi-region queuing, so at least they are working hard to bring a polished product, regardless of how few people are playing.
