Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 trailer features a lot of creepy dancing, use of deadly vampire powers, and then more dancing.
Hey people that made the Valhalla gameplay trailer, pay attention. This is how you make a powerful trailer without showing too much gameplay. The mood is set right from the beginning. A vampire dances around a bunch of dead people that are hanging on strings. Charismatic, eerie, and deadly. That’s the vibe the vampire gives off. Which is a perfect illustration of an undead creature that can seduce you in one second and tear your neck off in the next.
The new Bloodlines 2 trailer is creepy, entertaining, and full of short scenes that show us some unnatural vampire powers. Telekinesis, jumping from building to building, crawling on walls, summoning a vortex of bats, and so on. And there’s a lot of insanely charismatic dancing. Maybe it’s because I know they’re undead monsters with supernatural powers, and yet they’re dancing so smoothly that it makes me want to dance as well. The music is also freaking incredible.
Vampires are one of my favorite supernatural baddies, and it seems that Bloodlines 2 knows how to represent them. Perhaps the sequel to one of the best vampire RPGs might actually be a pretty darn good time. Let’s just hope it is not as buggy as the first game.
