Last Tide Is An Underwater Battle Royale With Sharks
Tired of Fortnite and PUBG? Why don’t you give Last Tide a try then? It is set underwater, so it has a different movement than that of your typical battle royale game. And there are sharks in it as well.
Why would you ever play Fortnite or PUBG when you have Last Tide? Like seriously, if you’re going to play a battle royale game, pick the one that has sharks in it. We have never before seen an underwater battle royale shooter, at least we think we haven’t. If one such game does exist, please do tell us in the comments section down below.
Now, Last Tide just recently launched on Steam’s Early Access, so it is still in development. But, judging from the player reviews on its Steam page, it’s doing good. The players are enjoying a unique spin on the battle royal genre. Having 100 players fight to the death isn’t anything special, but put them underwater, and add lots of sharks to the equation, and you have something extraordinary. The movement system is also vastly different compared to your standard battle royale shooter, which also makes thing interesting.
Last Tide looks like it could be an underdog in the industry right now, but if it gets some attention, who knows. Maybe it becomes the next Fortnite. It also has other interesting mechanics that are extremely fun and satisfying to use. Even though you don’t have access to grenades underwater, you can use chum. Yes, you heard us, you can use chum to attract sharks to other players. Tell us that isn’t the most hilarious yet brutal away of killing someone. You literally throw shark bait at them and then watch as they get torn apart by one of the seas’ most dangerous predator.
