Kingdom Hearts III Will Be Playable At E3 2018
Kingdom Hearts III has been a long time coming, and this E3 could be the time we finally get the release date for the highly anticipated third main entry to the series. Square Enix has only been showing bursts of the game via trailers and clips, and recently held a private press showing where first impressions came out. But now, they’ve confirmed that at E3 2018, fans will be able to get their hands on it via a demo that will be at their booth.
This confirmation came via Twitter, where Square Enix said:
Thank you to all those who attended the #KH3Premiere last week! Fans can get their very first chance to play @KINGDOMHEARTS III at Square Enix’s #E32018 booth!🎮 Hope to see you there!
This will be the first time that Kingdom Hearts III is open to the public, and it could be a thing that breaks the event depending on what is allowed to be played.
It’s unclear what will be shown in the demo, it’s very likely that gamers will get the same one that the press did. In that demo, they got to play in the Olympus Coliseum as well as the Toybox World that features Toy Story, but again, that’s unclear at present.
Kingdom Hearts III is going to be adding a lot of special features, including new ways to battle, new ways to do summons, new abilities for the Keyblade, and much more. Not to mention there will be many new worlds including Toy Story, Tangled, Big Hero 6, Monsters Inc, and much more. In fact, we wouldn’t be surprised if Square Enix showed off a few new worlds at E3.
Regardless though, fans of the franchise should be excited to try out the game in any capacity. And hopefully by the end of E3 will have a release date or window for the title.
